The FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is an international high school robotics competition. Each year, teams of high school students, coaches, and mentors work during a six-week period to build robots capable of competing in that year's game. The competition stages are short games played by robots that are designed and built to do various tasks for the competition.
FRC is also composed of six main core values, which are values and philosophies of gracious professionalism and cooperation. These core values are discovery, impact, innovation, inclusion, teamwork, and fun. Each of these values is very important and is the key to working together and having good team communication skills on the team and even outside of the team.
